Question RX 7 owner a few questions!!

hi ,i have recently aqquired an rx7 fc3s import from japan and would like to know about the windshield wiper switch
mine only works on n01 speed,no intermittent,no speed 2,and no mist,would this be the switch only?
and also what engine oil grade and diff oil grade should i use?
one more question .
what mileage should an engine do before rebuild?mines done 62k

wiper fault was broken wire on connector block to wiper motor and rear wipers fault was blown fuse due to operation of wiper when frozen to rear screen.
switch was perfect and so are the three others i have aqqired to fix this fault.
