Keep in mind that cluster has a speed limiter in it...

So with the cluster-based limiter, when IT reads the speed, it shoots a cut signal to the ECU and IT limits it, from there?

Hm. That's odd - primo sucky, but odd, none-the-less.

Why would you do that? You will have to calculate your speed all the time, when I drive the Mustang I know what MPH the speedo shows at the legal speed limits. Other than that I'm always guestimating my actual speed, or calculating it. It's no problem, but far from ideal. Like not a big enough problem to switch out speedos, but bi enough to make a reversed speedo swap stupid. That speed has a limiter (easily fixed). It only goes to 180 KPH, if yoy wan't speed in K's get a Euro one, our's go to 260 KPH.

So yeah, I don't realy get it? Is it a "JDM Tyte Yo" thing?

Riz.

Basically. The 260km/h are the only ones worth swapping imo.

what's so special about that cluster?? looks like a regular canadian s5t2 cluster.
you slap that in your car (spent lots of time rewiring it) and no one will notice its a "jdm bling".

Hi does anyone have an actual wiring diagram on how to do this sort of setup? And i repinned my cluster using my S4 wiring cluster and had three wires left over is there supposed to be extra wires left over? I had a blue/white a black/red and a black/white leftover just trying to make sure i did the repinning correctley because all i see on here is everyone doing N/A S4 guage cluster Swaps to the S5 clusters nothing on the turbo models that i saw so i used what i quess was the N/A guage cluster wiring diagram to do this i hope they are simular in terms of the wiring goes! And also how would i go about fixing the rev limit issue? Any help would be appreciated!

If you have the power to reach those speeds... No-one likes a poser. ;-)
