I got mine 1.5 a week or 2 ago. So far I like it. Waiting on the RB 3" turbo back to get here tomorrow. :-) Then I'll be able to try out the FCD. I did the self install of the chip. Not to bad, the directions are good. I didn't have any down time, had a spare "ebay" ECU. Which will come in handy for v2. (No self install option)

The day jobs been keeping me really busy but its close, a couple of days now - I've been running a 2.0 on my car for the last couple of weeks. Anyways, final feature list:
- 720 secondary support
- secondary staging point lowered to ~3300rpm
- FCD
- timing retard above 9psi
- AWS elimination
- flood clear
and a couple of pics of what's next datalogging and control.

I'm glad a have read this post because I was going to go ahead and get the 1.5 but damn the 2.0 would be perfect for me What exactly does the data logging do??? I mean what readings does it take etc.... When is it comming out!!! I'm getting it no matter what the cost (withing reason). Does the ecu automaticly tune the 720's to what boost your running?? I'm pushing abut 13 to 15 psi and I was going to get my car dyno tuned but would I have to after this or not???

-RPM
-Timing
-Knock
-Injector Duty Cycle
-Coolant temp
-Battery voltage
-TPS
Among many others...this makes fine tuning far easier and less expensive than hitting a dyno or popping for a standalone. For DSM owners (I have a Galant VR4) the pocketlogger is a godsend. You can also pull stored check engine light codes from the ECU and clear them as well as test several sensors in the car. I have the 1.5 version for my FC and can't WAIT to get version 2!!

very very very cool! He said a couple of days before it comes out??? nice because I can't wait! Is it true you HAVE to send your ecu to them for this chip??? also I'm not clear on what the 720 support means??? THanks.
edit never mind just saw this but what if you are running more than 12psi??? I have an upgraded turbo that can push 15psi, is it still goof for that???
"Version 2.x is a daughterboard setup and has not been released yet. The daughterboard is a more complicated install than version 1.x and we will not be offering the "self install" option. But with the daughterboard comes the ability to add more features.
Version 2.0 has all of the features of 1.5 but will run 720 secondaries without an S-AFC. You need 720 secondaries in order to run Rtek v2.0. An AFC can be used along with v2.0 for fine tuning, but is not necessary. Version 2.0 lets the ECU "know" that you are running 720 secondary injectors eliminating the need for an AFC to maintain stock A/F ratios. As we have demonstrated above, the less you have to 'trick' the ECU, the better. So with Rtek v2.0, 720 secondaries, and a larger fuel pump, you should have a setup that can push the stock turbo to its safe limit (approximately 12 PSI).
Other Version 2 releases will include datalogging and full fuel and timing control. Details of these versions have not been released yet.
Keep in mind that the condition of the engine should be taken into account before doing modifications that will increase the stress on the engine. Careful monitoring of engine vitals is critical to ensuring your engine is running well and safe. "

The stock turbo is pretty much maxed at 15 psi (before blowing oil seals). 12-14 psi should be plenty safe on most cars. I'm running a walbro, FMIC, stock injectors and version 1.5 @ 12-13 psi and the car feels great. EGT's never go over 700 in a 0-100 mph run and the plugs still looked a bit on the rich side. I'm going with version 2 for added safety and the later releases that will be coming out. Datalogging here I come
