RPM Surging at idle

undefined
I have an 88 RX-7 manual trans/turbo. When I am in neutral and at idle the RPM surges between 150 RPM & 1000 RPM. Is it the air mass flow sensor?

My car does the same thing. Try resetting your TPS or just replace it. I replaced my TPS and it didn't fix the problem completely. Mine still surges dramatically like that and sometimes will stall out.

No it is a mis-adjusted TPS
