Rotary Resources?

Anybody familiar with them? I stumbled across their page and it looks like they make their own apex seals. Anybody used these or have any experience with them?

If they're not Rotary Aviation seals, I'd wager they have the same problems to either a greater or lesser extent. Too hard is a problem, a very big problem.

Edit. though it's painfully easy to find... www.rotaryresources.com

i know where their website is...that's why I posted this. They are based out of Raleigh, NC.
The picture of their kits look like RA's kits but, isn't RA based out of Florida? I'm just curious if both companies are selling the same seals/kits or if they are tied together in some other way.

I kinda figured YOU knew where they were, it was everyone else I was concerned about.

That's Bruce Turrentine's shop, about 25 minutes from me. I know three people who have had a motor built by him. He does excellent work. He also makes his own apex seal which is designed for engines running high boost--this is not the Rotary Aviation seal. PM Smoken' on this forum, he just got Turrentine to rebuild his motor with those special seals. He was talking about how the motor started right up and idled really well.

I believe he does have some kind of business relationship with Rotary Aviation. I think he custom builds stuff for them or something.

Are you sure that the RA seals aren't his seals? I believe they sell his rebuild video. If anyone is interested in why I'm worried that they might be RA seals, search.

I'm not completely sure who makes what seals, but I do know that that high boost seal I was talking about his made by him personally. He may just use RA seals in other cases. Call him up and ask him if you're curious.
