What kind of bar would be recommended for street use? I dont do any kind of real racing (occasional trips to the drag strip and a few autoXs hopefully, but thats about it). Ive flipped over a car before, and it crushed the roof down almost all the way, and Im really lucky to be alive. Id just like to have the piece of mind that if I happen to roll my FC Ill be safe.

Probably something like the AUTO POWER sport bar. Check corksport out.

This is just my guess though I don't speak with proof or data.

Just a word of advice. Do alot of research on a cage before buying/isntalling. Cause if you install/buy an improper cage it might not be legal to run on either autox or solo 1 events. Thus vice versa if you never install/bought the cage you could run with it. Many NHRA cages aren't allowed to run under SCCA.

Oh yeah Jegs cage is not worth it.

for the street you dont want a cage, you want a roll bar with side supports, and then your fine but i guess if your going over 120mph all the time on a race track you need one.
