rising boost?!

I have no boost controller, and finished my engine break in last week. What i want to know is if its normal for my boost to be diffrent in every gear? i get ~5psi in first and second then in 3rd i get ~6psi then in 4th and 5th it goes up to about 7 or 8 psi, im runing a external wastegate (unknown) and a T04B turbo.

yes that is normal. your engine is under different loads in different gears at different RPMs
typically more load in higher gears

The load on the engine in each gear is nothing to do with it, what changes is the time available in each gear for boost to build. Low boost in first is normal because you reach redline and change up before the turbo has had time to spin up to max boost.
