No. You can't use those together.

Try these:

Kai has it right. Nothing sounds quite like headers on a rotary. Enjoy!

If you talk to the RB guys... A header is only going to get you about 1 more HP unless you plan to carb the motor and add a supercharger...

They outright told me not to bother since i wasn't going to give up the fuel injection on my N/A. They suggested the downpipe/ presilencer combo, which is actually a bit cheaper.

Nope. The road race header isn't collected, as in the flange has two "out" holes. The RB presilencer only has one "in" hole in it's flange. The road race header was really ment to be included in full custom exhaust systems.

Sure, with a custom collected midpipe you can mate it to a stock cat-back, or you can build a custom true dual exhaust right off the back of it.

Im going with the RB header / custom mid pipe / Corksport single exhaust. From what I heard all you need for a custom mid pipe you just get the flanges from RB and get a pipe at like home depot and goto a local shop and they can weld it down for you at 30 bux so it depends on what you wanna do.

Yeah you can get the flanges fro RB and then ust weld it in. Make sure you get the right angles and rotation of the piping right.

You don't wnt to find out the bolts don't mate up once it's welded.

I personally wouldn't do this because a straight through pipe system is going to be incredibly loud.

I have the CS single exhaust and Bonez superflo downpipe and cat and it is loud still.(88 GTU)

I am now doing a TII conversion and am going to buy the RB downpipe and the presilencer hoping to achieve the same sound level as I did with the Bonez Superflo with less restriction. I've never heard my exhaust on a turbo before so I'm hoping the turbo will reduce the sound levels.

I wanted to stay with Corksport for the whole system but their presilencer isn't in production yet.

The presilencer was still in testing from what I saw last time. They only had race pipes which are just straight through.

I might buy the little add in silencer but plan to be running open 90% of the time. I also don't care if my neighbors hate my car because they know that I keep it quiet through the neighborhood and they don't want me to rev it. hehehe
