The filler tube is wrong, aside from that it's fine.

What they mean is that the the filler tube is on the radiator's left side (driver's side) in your car and on the thermostat housing on an 88.

If the radiator does not have fiiler neck and radiator cap, and your car does not have a filler neck and cap on the the termostat housing, how are you going to fill the cooling systems?

You need to find out if the 88 and later thermostat housings are interchangeable. The early one, which is aluminum, uses a gasket, the later, which is plastic, uses an o-ring, I think.

There not interchangeable, the S4 filler neck has 2 bolts that hold it down and I believe the S5 has 3.
