Rev-Limiter Install woes

Alrighty. I AutoX my car and with the exhaust on it and it's rev happiness I regularily hit the redline and cannot hear the buzzer. So I picked up a Bee-R Rev Limiter and tried installing it. Spent over 6 hours trying to get the thing to work but no dice. So if anyone has installed one of these before could I get some pointers or even better instructions. Here is the diagram I was going off of after decifering the japanese manual and adapting it to a S4 NA ECU.

I tried every possible wire combination and it would not work.

wait, so you want to install an aftermarket rev limiter so that you can hit it on a regular basis? Why don't you just learn to shift in time?

I'm working on that. I'd just rather have this as a safety so it'll cut ignition instead of fuel.

Also the picture should be working. It's probly imageshack being difficult.

sorry i don't have mine hooked up anymore i would of helped you out. If you have a turbo motor and a straight exhaust you shouldn't need the bee-r. Thats the reason i took mine out. Oh and also i have microtech now so i can control it. good luck

How about a good shift light instead? Much simpler solution.

I'm not sure if anyone's gotten a soft-cut limiter to work on the stock ECU before due to the trailing ignition setup.

There's a rev limiter on the stock ECU. And your aftermarket unit probably won't work unless it can also control the trailing.
