Renisis the Fc

The 2nd gen VDI and aux port valves appeared to open progressively because they ran off of air pressure either from the exhaust or air pump depending on which series they were. You could even use a backpressure sensing tube off of a 2nd gen exhaust pipe to do the same on a retrofitted Renesis VDI valve.
As far as as the aux port motor, it opens and closes completely. It doesn't partially open to be smooth. Opening and closing just take time. If someone were really concerned with using this, the solution is pretty easy. Since the aux ports are actuated by one motor, remove the motor and fab up a little shaft with an offset piece. Think aux port actuators on 2nd gens. Now retrofit a VDI valve actuator and use air to move it too. You can use the electric solenoid valves off of 2nd gens and still use rpm switches to make it work.
This stuff isn't hard to deal with. You just have to get a little creative. I have a Renesis manifold lying around. When I get a chance I may just do this little mod to show others how. Too bad I have nothing to put it on right now!
