removing TB..help?

wthe hose on top of the TB that goes accross the dynamic hamber to the BAC... i think.. does that have radiator fluid in it. because last time i tried taking it off it squirted everywhere, but the hanes manuel just says to remove all hoses. nothing about fluid..... so what do i do about the hose. just take it off and cap till i get it back on or what?

ahh i c, where did you send the manifold off too? just curious and btw did you get new gaskets for everything?usually when removing these parts it messes up the gaskets depending on how old they are and you wont want a vac leak

and hell if your porting it might as well remove that line that goes to the coolant... just clip the hose and completly bypass the TB... what i did, cleans it all up so well

Yeah, how in the hell do you port the intake manifold? its to curved to get into the center of it to bore it out.. I assume thats what porting is, boring it out?

porting the manifolds means porting where the air comes in and leaves... if you pull them apart youll realize the holes do not match up.... i.e one hole is smaller than the hole adjacent from it causing turbulence..... your also making these bigger if you choose to do so and removing some other stuff along the edge of the ports... if you read the porting thread in the archive youll understand exactly what im talking about... great mod to do but i cant cause i dont have money to replace all the gaskets right now
