Removing differential

I am trying to remove my diff but can't seem to get it out in one piece. It's an LSD on a totalled GX. I was wondering if I can separate the carrier from the diff, or do I have to drop the subframe to do this? Or is it at all possible to take it out in one piece?

I gave up for the day. It's the last thing on the car that I want to remove before I can call the scrap guys to take it. My parents are naggin me as there is the biggest pool of coolant, oil, fuel, ****, beer, and what not.

It's worlds easier if you drop the subframe. It's nearly impossible to get the front bolts off in my experience with the subframe in the way.
