Removed ACV, vac line ???

I drive a 87 t2. I recently removed my ACV and I notice that some one had switched the PRESSURE SENSOR vac line and the Air BYPASS VALVE vac line. The ABV vac line when to the ACV, And i didnt connect a vac line to. I ran the car a day and it was making a funny noise when i let off the throttle. Commen sence told me it was the BYPASS VALVE. So I looked at the Haynes manual and say that someone had switched vac lines.

So for my questions, 1Could I have hurt my turbo with the ABV clossed. 2 Hwere do i connect the PRESSURE SENSOR to.

I just got a T splitter and connected it to another vac line. Be sure to make the connection snug and keep that plastic tee away from the turbo.

you need a "T" so you can hook both lines to the same place since one of them went to the ACV before you removed it.

that funny noise you hear is probably compression surge which is damaging your turbo.
