nobody really buys a kit
you buy the following 3 things separately
1. you need a hub compatible for your car
2. then you need a quick release mechanism with a bolt pattern that matches the hub
3. then you need a wheel with a bolt pattern that matches the quick release mechanism
secondary considerations are
-turn signal cancellation. if the mechanism is affected by the installation of a hub, you will need a hub that specifically addresses the needs of your system. i don't know if that is the case for FCs.
-you will also need the appropriate wiring for the horn, which is very simple.
ebay brand x quick release mechanisms are absolute garbage, they tend to develop play in about a month. ebay brand x hubs are likewise crap, but they will work. ebay brand x steering wheels look nice in pictures, but are crap and all flexy. yes i've had personal experience with all 3.
there are fairly reputable domestic knock off companies that make products that work (nrg). then there's the expensive good stuff that few people get (works bell).

yes NRG is a company name
look up nrg innovations
they are reasonably priced for a knock off brand
and their **** apparently works, so there you go
the good stuff i like is made by a company called' works bell'
for wb, expect to pay roughly $100 for the hub and about $300 for the quick release.
as for wheels, nardi, momo, sparco, hell even nismo, mazdaspeed, trd, etc. all make wheels. even a grant wheel works. anything but a crappy brand x steering wheel. those feel like jello.
just make sure the bolt patterns all match up. there are a few different patterns between different brands and most units feature more than one pattern.

I just checked the NRG website. They are pretty cheap. What i'm a bit concerned is about the bolt pattern. If i get the product and iwas to get a momo or any other steering wheel will it work well, will it align or i would have to make some mods?

there is no industry standard bolt pattern
momo uses a 6 bolt
nardi uses a 6 bolt
but the spacing is different, they do not bolt up to the same quick release, unless it supports two different bolt patterns
likewise grant and other usdm wheels use a 5 bolt pattern iirc
you need to find out the bolt patterns and double check
you also need to check bolt pattern between the hub and the quick release

i looked in the WB and i send them an e-mail to see how much would the kit cost. Dial8 which kit you got and where did you get it from? and how much did you spend? I'm searching and the only one that i could find is the NGR and that's about it.

I know better than to go and ask Auto Zone or Advance, i might have better chances asking my girl about Rx-7. I have owned rx7 since i was 18 so i'll be ok. Post some pics so i can see and let me know where you got your kit from. If it was online or what. Also do you have the part number? so i can search by the part number i might have better luck in finding it... thanks

I'm using a Momo hub, LTB quick release and a Momo Mod 78 wheel along with a Sparco dual horn button kit (stock button doesn't fit with the quick release). It works fine and I like it. If I were to do it again I'd get a wheel with buttons in it (like the Momo Mod 80, rather than having to get external ones.
The hub bolts right up and works perfectly. The quick release has a little slop in it, but it's cheaper than many others. The wheel is really nice and feels good, but suede doesn't wear as well as leather or synthetics, but it is good for sweaty hands.
You'll want a wheel with a minimal dish to it because the quick release adds thickness and you don't want the wheel in your chest so that you can't reach the turn signals.

I bought a NRG quick release for $50 new at a tuner shop so theyre pretty cheap but when i put it in my car i thought it stuck out too much and to reach the turn signal u gotta reach out. so i got rid of it im gonna go for a kill switch instead for security

I got a Personal/Nardi wheel + NRG quick release on my civic and it works fine. Personally I would get a Nardi wheel, I think they look cleaner than Momo or Sparco wheels. I bought it all in a package for 280, including the wheel, hub, and release. The NRG quick release works fine, I don't see any reason to throw down another couple hundred for a brand name unless you're making it a show car or something.

i'm a try the NGR since it is a lot cheaper than the WB (Works Bell) So i should be able to adapt the NGR to the momo commando? will it stick out too much?
i'm going to get the kill switch too, i just want to make it really difficult for it get stolen...
ShLt if someone is going to steal your car they will do it the only thing we can do ist just make it difficult for them to do so. W/O the steering wheel they would probably have to get the car towed...

They mostly have Honda stuff though, I haven't seen any FC parts in their store. I just mentioned it cause if I can get it for that price I'm sure somewhere has a similar package for FC's. If nothing else they sell the steering wheel and quick release together and you could just get a hub somewhere else.

make sure you get the right hub because I bought the FB hub instead of the FC. good luck.
Nrg has the short hub and momo has the longer hub, it really depends how close you want your steering wheel to sit. When you attach the quick release onto the hub, the steering wheel will extends a little more so the decision is up to you, and without the quick release just attaching steering wheel to the hub will sit shorter.
hope this give help you a bit
