Relief Solenoid Valve!

I was just wondering.. my relief solenoid valve on my 88 N/A has a line broken off it. Besides emissions, could this be causing any other problems, such as my high idle (1300rpm).

Many thanks

Nick

Hi

yes , not because your relief valve is not working,
but because the engine is sucking leak air,
through the broken vakuum line.
You can check this by holding your finger on the open line while idling.
If so, just replace the line.
