rebuilt tII engine

can u put a rebuilt 88 TII engine in a 88 SE and leave it a non-turbo, any advantages to doing this ebtter engine compnoents etc etc......will the 88 n/a intake bolt up to it and same for exhaust manifold and just run bigger fuel pump with ported intake.....is this idea bogus or what......just a thought a friend has a rebuilt TII engien he wants to dump, and its short block only no-turbo etc etc

nope the n/a intake and stuff wont work.... i could use a rebuilt t2 motor how much does he want for it?

you can use it but you will need manifolds and since the compression ratio is lower it will probable not have that great of power, but it should have good mpg and reliablity.
