Rebuild Question

Ok....I juss got a job and I was wondering. What would be the average amount a shop would ask me for rebuilding my NA engine...giving it a good sized street port and Turbo Charging it. I know the NA is high compression but I've been reading and I want to Turbo Charge it....Also...are there any respectable rebuilders in Florida....preferabily close or in central florida?

Well most likey the easiest and best way to do it is buy a TII motor, tranny, ecu, harness, flywheel and a dp/mp. If u want to u can rebuild that. WIth a port and all it would most likely be around....4-5k. Thats about what i spent, but I'm doing it myself w/ extra aftermarket parts.

please do not bump unless 24-48 hours have gone by and no one has answered your question.

And why don't you contact shops that rebuild engines instead of asking here (where the answer is likely to be a guess)

It'll probably end up costing twice as much to turbo the NA than to swap in a turbo engine. Especially if you want to pay a shop to do the work for you.
