Rebuild or not??
I'm in the process of exiting the world of honda, and going to purchase an FC. On ebay there's a 10th anniversary w/ about 65k on it I think. If I find an FC that I like, what area of mileage should make it necessary for a rebuild? 70k? 80k? Mind you, I have a rebuilt stock 2nd gen turbo (thinking about upgrading it) plus a starion intercooler. Plus scattered parts that my friends have from their previous FCs. So I want to do flat 13s, or even mid 12s. What do you guys think? Tryin to get my learn-on here. ANYBODY CHECK OUT THE BANZAI RX-7? SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ever here that 7's don't like going in a strait line??? YOu ***! Seriously man, why the hell do you want to drag with such a great car? Rx-7's have crazy handeling so learn your *** how to drift and than you might have some actual skills. Anyway about the mileage, depending on the owner, a Series 4 Turbo, like the 10th AE will probably last you 140k. N/a's easily 200k.

I e-mailed the guy on ebay selling the 10th AE Turbo II with some "what's up with this car, it looks suspicous" questions. No responce yet.
I mean how can you f-up the engine wiht only 80k miles on the car. He must have f'd it with bad modificatiosn.
Yeah the banzi car is pretty sweet.
I'd SERIOSLY talk the ebay guy down from $3800.

Gefunk, that was a pretty lame thing to say.. 7's love going in a straight line as much as any sports car, it just so happens that they handle better than anything else under 80k. ![Smilie](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
ttfan, an FC shouldn't need a rebuild until over 100k at least, unless you beat the crap out of it.
