If all you need is the internal "soft" combustion & coolant seals, Mazdatrix has 'em, for like $125 a set, or individually.

Open the engine, measure, mic check and inspect. Order the kit that corosponds to the parts you need.

Always need soft kit AND apex seals - after that its based on wear!!!!!!

What you want is the gasket set for the coolant seals. Atkins has them for cheap. You can order the coolant seals separately from mazdatrix or mazdaformance to name a couple.

why? does he need everything?

KL makes a livving here on doing exactly what needs to be done. Franlky other than apex seals and gaskets/orings its all up to wear. I have built many engines that have outlasted the chassis just replacing the worn items. I am not suggesting that something close to worn out be reused, contrary, if it does not have at least 50% life in it, I replace.

I have in one case replaced everything - due to oil starvation in a low mileage restored vert.

If ur tearing the motor apart u might as well replace all the seals and gaskets, just in case. Once u get inside the motor u might need more than u thought u did.
