Rear hubs / toe control whatever you wanna call it

I removed the 3 bolts for the rear hub and set up a 2 jaw puller according the haynes manual to as it says "force the splined section out of the hub" and it's not forcing it out.

I am stuck and I'm about to lose it. I just rounded out 3 of the 6 total interior hex nuts for the ABS gear on my two front hubs and even after spraying every bolt on my car every time i work on it with PB i still am rounding things out. I am so close to melting this car into a giant lawn ornament.

Please god someone give me a tip about a "bolt not mentioned in haynes(as those ******** apparently LOVE to do" so I can finish this car and keep from losing my sanity.

There are only three bolts, I did not use a Jaw puller...I just remember they were a big BIATCH to get off.

I'm just afraid of yanking way too hard or spraying WD40 in there and messing anything up. Any mechanic tips here would be awesome. Otherwise I'm about to just go have at it with a hammer on the backside.

Be somewhat careful with the axle, you don't what that boot or axle ripping/breaking.

I would stay away from a hammer and get some prybars. If I remember correctly (I will be sorta doing this on my car in the next few days and it may come back to me) the pain in the but is the top mount where there is a plastic piece to stop movement. This makes it a PAIN to get off. If I remember correctly I started to get it loose and then tried to pry and twist off the top one.

Ya I've already been able to remove the hub but I can't get it off the spline. It's like it's friggin welded on by rust or something

So ya, just WD40'd the splines and waited a while before going back with the puller, an impact to drive the puller a crowbar to pry it free and a hammer for posterity. No dice. Why do rx7s have to be such a pain in the ***?

try Dropping the Four Nuts at the diff then..Push the Shaft to the side, then Get a Centre Punch and Whack the Outer portion of the axle that sticks through the Hole.Another thing that you may want to try,If you feel comfortable with it,Is Putting the Nut back on,Flush, and giving it a tap...By rights that Axle should move.it's not held in by anything other than the spline itself.
