I think its worth it. Its an authentic RE-Amemiya body kit from Japan, i mean if your a car fanatic that loves Rx7's youd easily pay that much or at least i would. That kit is the real thing, it looks great, is great quality and is a must have for an FC owner. I would do the install myself and have a shop paint it to save as much as i could.

Well you could just want a bad *** car for less than the price of an FD!!! seriously you can easly top the preformance of a FD without even getting close to the starting price on a FD. personaly id rather have a bad *** FC than have a stick FD.

i agree, anything over 1grand for a bodykit is completely insane, u might aswell buy another car. like think about it all it is is fiberglass and new lights just to make ur car look nicer, dont get me wrong I LOVE THE REAMEMIYA bodykit and will probably get one, but if chuck will actually make copies then im all game

Maybe I'm different but I have invested over 20k in my FC. I don't want a FD and don't understand why they are looked upon as so much better. Less room on the inside and people who see them expect them to be fast. Insurance is also higher.
My FC is perfect and I wouldn't trade it for any FD.

id rather have a fd, just cause theres so much more potential to be had with it, and yea insurance is more, but if u can afford a nice fd then im pretty sure u can afford the insurance thats how i look at it

Like I said before if you search the old thread on the copys Rotary Extreme was going to make, I posted my opinion, and said that for the money, at the time I paid $2000.00 dollars for the kit, plus shipping from Rotary Performance in Texas. For the money I paid I was defienetly expecting better quality. Dont get me wrong the kit brings everything you need including the lights, light covers, and wiring harness, but the lights themselves are a piece of ****. I washed the car a few times, and after every wash you have to remove the light covers to dry up the water that gets trapped on the inside if not the lights get water logged, and believe me it looks like **** when the water gets inside the lights themselves when that happens you cant get the water out. Also you figure for the money you paid you should at least get a extra set of bulbs with the kit. Not to mention its not a "DIRECT BOLT ON" so you do have to modify the kit to fit perfectly. Thank god the guys at the body shop where I painted, and installed the kit know there ****, because you even have to modify the location where you install the lights themselves. What I mean is if you hands are the size of a 3 yr old then you will have no problem in installing the lights in there location. You figure the engineers at R.E. would have thought of this when they designed the kit, but obviously they neglected that. My advice to anyone buying the kit is when you install it make sure to seal the lights with some kind of rubber sealant to prevent the water from leaking inside the bulbs.
