Lemme tell you something about those mufflers......... I bought a wrecked car with headers and and RE Catback.... I put that exhaust and motor in a blown car to sell...... the first time i drove it... half my brain melted out my ear and is still a brown stain on the seat

Just thought I'd give everyone a head's up in case anyone's interested...
I have a line on a M-I-N-T used GENUINE RE Amemiya Dolphin Tail Titan Muffler (ie the Titanium version), as pictured above. This is a VERY very rare exhaust, and is simply THE definition of exotic, made by the Rotary Masters themselves, RE Amemiya.
This exhaust is $1700+ new from RE Amemiya, plus shipping and misc fees. The one I have the opportunity to purchase has only 1,000 km on it (620 miles), so it's still essentially brand new, and can be had for only $1400 + shipping (about $250). This exhaust includes BOTH a midpipe AND the catback (so it's essentially a full exhaust).
Now comes the hard part. The exhaust is only going to be held for me for the next 3 days. After that, it'll go to the next buyer in line. So I'll need payment (either in full, not including shipping costs) or a substantial deposit down VERY soon in order to move on this crazy opportunity, or I'll have to let it slip by...

all the vids of the RE-Amemiyas with those exhausts that I have seen seem to whistle under decel.......or is that some other noise? I am under the impression it is the exhaust but since I can't read or speak japanese I have no real clue.
