Yes you can reuse it as long as its not showing visible damage.

sweet...thats what I figured..just wanted to be sure...I'd be pissed it it started leaking after I get everything bolted on.

Have RB header...pre-silecner..and RB catback..got em all used buying from people of rx7 forums...

170.00 for header shipped...AWSOME condition with just barely the signs of blue from heat on it.

40.00 for pre-silencer...rusty...good condition...it'll work good...

90.00 for RB catback...nice condition...no rust...

Yes, I agree that you probably should replace the gasket, but I re-used mine, and it has been fine, never gave me any problems. The gasket is fairly thick, and as long as it is still in one piece it should be ok. But If I did it over again Id probably replace it, just bacause it is 16 years old..

Honestly, its a sheet of metal. They dont break like the other ones on the intake do. They are a lot stronger and are reusable. I doubt mazda would even replace them unless they just wanted to charge you more.

Just be careful. As a general rule, gaskets are NEVER reusable. Is a mere $25 worth the trouble to take all that off and reinstall?

Mazda parts

I've had great luck getting best prices from Mazdaformance. Easy to contact since they are a rx7.com sponsor. Just click the link at the top of the page.

Sorry if this is out of place, but can you get RB headers if you already have a downpipe and pre-silencer?

i agree with the do it right do it once...when i ported my intake manifolds i replaced everything i could...

i just re-used the gasket...no leaks...i didnt have time to get my catback on. So i mated it to my 2.5 to midas mufflers with the rb pre-silencer..at WOT it sounds like a 2000 cc chainsaw...******* sounds mean as ****..catback will go on Monday.
