Rb collector Header and bonez high-flow combo, loud or decent?

I'm either goin to do this combo, or jus stick with a high flow cat as my oem one is fubar. But, if I do do the header and cat combo (also have an RB cat-back) will it be really loud. I have done the search, but I only found out that if you have a straight pipe its real loud. So, would it be loud with the cat? Also, will it pass Ontario emmission test?

It shouldn't be too loud. The RB mufflers/cat back really do A LOT in keeping things quiet.

I'm running a RB Header + Bonez high flow cat + RB catback. The sound is great. I started with the Bonez + catback. Sound was also great. When deciding to go with the header I was worried about noise as well, but I figured I could always go back if it was too bad. Yes, it is louder, but in a better way. The old setup would resonate at about 3000 rpm which was kind of annoying (not terrible though). The header setup has more decibels (not louder than many other modded cars on the road), but they are now at a different frequency so it doesn't resonate in the cabin anymore which actually makes for a more pleasant ride. The RB catback does a really good job of keeping noise under control.

Also... I passed Virginia emissions with absolutely no problem. I have no idea about what things may be like in Ontario.

I'm considering using the Bonez hi-flow cat and Racing Beat cat-back system to replace the disgusting fart-cannons the last owner installed. I already have the Racing Beat Street Header installed and no cat at the moment.

My question is wether the Bonez cat can be used to actuate the 5th and 6th port. I know it has the line for the air being pumped in from the ACV, but on the s4 the port actuators were driven by backpressure from the exhaust rather than air from the 6psi system.

I know everytime this issue is mentioned there are people saying to "wire open the ports", but I would like to have them working properly. Any ideas if the Bonez cat will work, or if not what would?

Thanks

I have the RB collected header, Bonez hi-flow cat, and the Rotary Performance cat-back. I get some resonation in the interior, but it is heads and shoulders above the stock setup. Plus price played a huge part in my decision.

I just received my Bonez hi-flow cat in the mail today. I plan to order the Racing Beat collective header and RB catback real soon. My question is are you guys shooting flames with the bonez hi-flow cat. I'm going to be a ricer for a minute and admit I want to shoot flames. It's cool looking and an attention getter

Bump...

Thinking of this setup as well. For a DD, it shouldn't be too bad.

get the rb header and bonez hi flo cat. That with the rb catback sounds very nice. Thats the same set up I have and I love it. It is not that loud at all, only when I want it to be.

RB Header -> Bonez -> Apexi N1 Evo. It's loud but not unbearable. I got used to it.

You won't. You need to not have a cat to shoot flames.
