I'll definately pick them up if you can get some side by side lighting comparisons.

Yeah, I'm anxious to see how well it compares. Also, what are you doing for adjustability?

aight guys, I guess I could put in the other unit...the light isnt even installed in their nor is the lexan even adhesed. I just set it all in there for the pic to give an idea. This isnt even the intended project here, and the lights I have are the Autozone halogen lights, but thin enough to fit, so use your imagination, they werent intended on replacing and being used as stock driving lamps, but if they produce enough light I dont know because I have yet to hook them up, what do you guys think?

OH, NOW HE CRUSHES OUR DREAMS!!!

Oh well, they look allright. Why don't you go for some sort of halogen setup like was proposed for the ford GT?

llool man you have to know how bad this camera is!! And like i said this was not even what I intended on making, but figured hey, sell it if someone wants it. I am sure I can use some high powered bulbs in these housings and get some great light, but I need your help on that, or you can buy the housing and you can throw your own lights in there...anyhow lemme see how well it all lights up....

Yeah, they look pretty neat to me, throw out a price on the housings/lexan, and I'm sure I can source some lights.

ill get rid of the housings for 200. As for the lights you have about an inch and half of space....i already cut one out to see and try to put an H1. Just got to buy the h1 bulb and see.

Looks cool so far. How much are the proposed raybrig headlamps you plan to use cost? Will the housings have room to adjust the headlamps or will they be fixed? How are the housings being mounted?

aight guys...got some more pics of the lights....I think the lighting is cool if you live in a city but I live out in the boons of NC and driving home in the woods doesnt exactly give all the light I need considering I drive home with the high beams on. I think what i should do is buy some H3's and retrofit the housings and it will be all good and very costworthy when you compare them to 560 bux for an eastbear kit that isnt even covered. Anyhow Santa I am not at home right now and I am still logged on my AIM at home so thats why I cant respond until I get there. Ill upload some more crappy pics shortly.

They will be mounted using brackets I will glass in the back of the housings...and yes the headlights will have room to move. I am thinking of cutting out the back panel that way there is easy access to the lights if you want to adjust them or remove them, and if you really want to remove the lexan all you need it a razor blade to cut thru the adhesive as long as you can readhese it. If we agree that retrofitted h1 bulbs which should easily be bright enough will work in those housings then I will sell the whole deal for $319. Still a steal. I am still going to make my planned full on kit with the halo headlight kits. Right now I have zero free cash to invest in buying anything more so I will sell these prototypes after making a mold from them and with some cash I will go on from there.
