Do you have catalytic converters? If so, you most likely just clogged them.

i used full throttle fuel injection cleaner and put it through the line that rns out from the pass side that goes to the intake(the big black thing right behind the brake master cylander). I used a bottle made by full throttle for doing this FIC( i work at jiffly lube got it for free) and no i have no cats but how would i have clogged them we do this to alot of cars and they have never come back complaining

wait, did you just put fuel injector cleaner in your intake manifold? your supposed to put it in your FUEL TANK after a full fillup of fuel...how did you think it was gonna clean the injectors through the manifold?

It sounds like he put in the gas..but also did it through a vacc. line. If your looking to clean carbon from your internals, water through that vacc. line would have been your better and more effective bet.

well thet good news is that if you poured it into your manifold you didnt hurt anything. And, if you have an NA, you may have cleaned up your 5th and 6th port sleeves enogh to loosen them (if they were stuck). As far as doing what the product is intended to do....you didnt. Didnt it have directions on the bottle?

ok let me explain it better there are 2 parts of it
1. fuel sytem cleaner, you put the bottle into your tank and let it do its stuff while you have gas in it, cleans your fuel system
2. fuel injector cleaner, it comes in a bottle that you pooer into another bottle that drips it into your vac line( like an iv) and when you do this you let it run through your car at idle and it makes your car smoke a little then you take it off when its done and hit the gas and it shoots out tons of white smoke and you hit the gas untill it goes away

ok dude...what makes you think that anything poured or dripped into any one of your vacuum lines, which all go into your intake manifold, will travel through and clean your injectors? Intake system is not your fuel system.

itll only go through the fuel injectors through the fuel lines not the manifold or a vac line.

I am sorry, but anything put into the intake manifold will NOT go through your fuel injectors. They are two seperate components that only mix when fuel from the injectors is added to the lower intake manifold.

WTF no one has ever heard of this or had it done its a pretty common thing???? i did it how you do it with all the other cars its no different and jiffy lube and many other places have offered it for years so i know if it was very harmfully to your engine it would not still be in exestance????? im thinking that the stuff put into the vac line is to clean carbon deposits in your intake manifold then blows them out. that would explain all the smoke i just cant belive no one ad heard of this and all yall are saying im stupid and i am just doing something that is profesionaly done at many shops and has been done fore years

Don't get offended man, no one says you're stupid. We've just never heard of something like this and think it's sounds kinna crazy. Why don't you tell me the name of the stuff you used and I'll go check it out and see what the instruction say. That'll clear a lot up.

I think that so many people are having trouble with this because, there is no way you can clean the fuel injectors by sucking a solvent through a vacuum line.

You would have better luck dumping 4 tanks worth into the gas tank at once.

All the stuff sucked through a vacuum line would do is clean the primary intake runners of any gas residue or tar left from what was in the gas. It wouldn't even clean the 5th/6th ports.

Okay, I know this product and what you've been saying...but this line above should have been a bit clearer and you should have clearified it when we misunderstood and started laughing at you...lol. Youdid it right so no worries. You're prolly correct about it being the mass carbon deposites within the intake that caused the smoke.

this?

A two-stage intake carbon cleaner. Quickly dissolves carbon and varnish from the intake manifold, valves, pistons and combustion chamber. Residual cleaner continues to soften "rock-like" carbon valve deposits for a more thorough, long lasting cleaning. Helps reduce build-up in the catalytic converter and reduces exhaust emissions. No alcohol/methanol formula is safe for the vehicle, environment and technicians
