rain fucked up my car?

since it rained last week my hesitation has come back but in wierd places, but I also cleaned up the grounds a bit to make them nicer looking cause my home made makeshift ground kit was different gauged wire and cheap connectors and stuff etc.

but now it seems to get that bad ground feeling once again in my midpowerband and it bucks at me before redline and during startup it doesnt quite get to 3krpm, it jumps up to 1.5krpm.

Nothing will diagnose a faulty electrical system quite like a good downpour...

no kidding...

I had that gay scoop thing in there for only 1 day of rain, maybe not even a day, now I just got black duct tape covering the hole so I dont get water in there.

Are you still running the topmount? I would rather my engine get a little wet, than to lean out and pop it!

its NA

and it was this scoop:
(the previos owner was the jackass who cut a hole in the hood)

and right below it is the AFM and the MSD RPM activated switch for the 5/6th ports.

I remember seeing pics after you bought that and thinking how he must've thought that the RX-7 ran off a dryer.

I was thinking it came off like an MR2 hood or something.

I painted it black so it would look better (and it did) but it didnt rain when I had the car until recently and said to myself "wait a tick"

quickly running out and drying it, moving it into the garage and taping that bitch up, with a week of rain the tape is still going strong being outside all day and all heh.

well see, that costs money. money I don't have but right now the tape is doing a damn good job.

but I may have already located a few aluminum t2 hoods.

yeah, you dont think I was pissed when I saw it?

but for the **** I got with the car and the rustless NC car it wasnt that bad overall.

this is what it looks like with it painted black, muuuch less gay but still stupid:

now can we stop talking about the hole in the hood and help me get to the bottom of the electrical issue!?
