Laying Down Rotary Law
a stock TII
your n/a with nos
you should take him
Just don't floor it and engage the NOS is 1st gear
you spin to much tire and he'll get a good jump on you
rev the car to 6000
start letting go of the clutch slowly till you alsmot feel the car moving
then once you launch hold the gas pedal at it's currect location
letting go of the clutch pedal completly
then shift and floor it on second and yooouuur goonne!

Hey Crossbar,
I want to be there when you race him, I am quite confident you will win however, you might want a friend on hand to help rebuild the engine. On a serious note we should yank your block and see how rotaries like NOS, I am dieing to know.

I agree, you'll beat (if not dust) him. Stock TIIs are quick, but not FAST. A modded, well-tuned N/A can beat a stock TII. Remember, "stock" means "running stock boost levels". If he's even up 1.5-2 lbs, all bets are off

Sorry, but I think the T2 is lying to ya, and he knows he'll get your money I'm gonna lie to T2 guys if they wanna race me...I'll just tell them its still the SE...the whole GT-X under the hood won't come into the conversation

I feel that power is power, regardless of how you get it to the ground. If you're into drag racing then NOS seems to be a good option to go with.
The guy who's sucking tailpipe loses the green, simple as that. If he agreed to race you with what you have then he has no room to bitch when he gets his *** handed to him.

Nitrous is safe. Its the morons who don't know how to use it that give it a bad rap. I've ran upto a 150shot on carbon apex seals before. Just remember, you're going to need more fuel, and to back the timing off a atleast 4 degrees. Please tell me that you have some sort of aftermarket fuel system....CJ

Dont use your nitrous... Lets see if you can beat him without it... I Know for a fact u will beat him.. He will probly run 15.1 to 14.8 but you can do 14.8 to 14.3 possibly with those mods... But u will have to port the manifold and tune your afc with a meter or better yet at a shop. Those t11 secondaries might kill your top end withuot a tuned afc. Also bump up your timing and dont and i mean dont forget to wire your VDI to the HIGH position...
BELIEVE ME YOU WILL GET YOUR 100 BUCKS. Stock t11 arnt as fast as the drivers think they are. Theyre just remembering how thier slow as n/a was when they used to have one. But a t11 with intake and exaust I hear will only do the 1/4 in the real low 14s so **** his boost. You have top end and reving power. Smoke his *** and tell us how it went in the racing section and remind uss of this post.

But I gotta differ with you here. A full intake/exhaust can bring the boost as high as the driver's willing to let it go. Assuming no fuel or IC mods, that's an easy 210-215 to the wheels. That's out of a stock-port n/a's league. Sorry My original opinion stands. If this guy's running even 1.5-2 lbs over stock boost, all bets are off. Trust me, my buddy's got gutted cats, and he WALKS me above 70ish.

NOS is Cheating !! ,, Thats the most rediculous thing i have ever heard... In that repect then Turbochargers are cheating (forced induction, sounds pretty artificial to me) Not to mention Any mod done to your car... And if you know what your doing nos is perfectly fine for the engine...

I agree with Scott. Nos is kind of a bitch *** way to get free horsepower. I wouldn't exactly call it cheating, but its kind of stupid if you ask me, espcially with the risk of damaging the engine. Turbos are different , they designed into the engine as an integral part of it, unlike a bottle full of HP in the trunk. still, good luck with the race, I think you'd win with or wihout Nos...

You watch too much TV. Nitrous is perfectly safe to use. Just need enough gas. All it does is allow more air to get in the cylinder which in turn requires more fuel to keep from leaning out. More fuel + more air = more HP. I ran a 250hp plate system on a 350 chevy with a strong bottom end back in high school (late eighties) and never ever had any problems. I pushed the button at least once or twice a day just having fun around town. Hey run what ya brung. If you think NOS is cheating then don't race or get some yourself.
Hey man, use the bottle if ya need to, a win is a win.
