Racing Beat Torque Brace, Tight Fit?
For all of you with the RB torque brace, is it a tight fit?
I've test fit mine and there appears to be an interferance problem with a clutch master cylinder line as well as the clutch slave cylinder.... My car is a S5 Turbo II with A/C and P/S
thanks,
Hakan

I've had one on the shelf for over a year and just went out to test fit the thing. I have a 91 Vert (N/A) and there is no way it will clear the clutch valve. I called RB and they said to send back for a refund. Seems S5s (Verts inparticular) have a fitment issue. I hate to part with the green, but I guess my only option is Mazdatrix.

Based on prior experience with Racing Beat's product, I think it will fit... Their quality and service is second to none. Unlike too many off our aftermarket suppliers

I do see that their web site now says not for the convertible. Having tried a car with one, I'd say it's well worth the $65.00. Verts can be a real pain, but still, got to love em!

Actually for a vert the Mazdatrix brace would probable be better, especially that triangulated 3-way brace. All convertibles suffer from poor rigidity and the Mazdatrix piece will probably make a world of difference... pretty damn pricy though.

I R SAD PANDA W/O BAW
If I am not mistaken the mazdatrix brace is fairly similar to the CP racing brace that is sold on ebay. I believe he is also on the forum and for the price they offer it cant be beat.
