Racing Beat and 6 Ports question

Well I am thinking of buying the Racing Beat Header for my 88gtu and was wondering about port actuation.
I don't really want to do the air pump but it looks like i will have to.
My question is about racing beats midpipe thing.
It replaces the cat and the n/a version shows the little pipe thing used for emmissions and port actuation.
Has anyone bought this and has it had enough back pressure to actuate?

I was thinking of buying this if it works and having an adapter from the header.
I also just got the Corksport single exhaust so I hope I can make enough backpressure.
Please give me some info!
I need to stop running in the 17's!!!!!!

Well if all else fails you could just wire open your aux. ports if you wanted. People say you lose a little low end torque, but my friend did it and didn't notice any. Plus how much are you racing and keeping the RPMs down? Then you could save some weight by ditching the air pump.

I hate to say it but they say it makes enough back pressure but I have found that it does not
. I would put it in and wire open the ports for now. Look into a different 6th port mod. Lots of people are doing smog pump mods to RPM activated solenoids, or external air pumps, etc. Do a search on that but you will like the sound and performance of the RB
