i'd did really great!!! alright we raced 2 times.... one on a uphill start from a stop sign he got me on the launch by 1 car..... i had my fat *** and my fat *** friend in my car which is like 430 pounds right there ( im 200 lbs his 230lbs) and he had my asian friend who is like 130 and him who is 140. Anyways three honks we go.... on the luanch he had me 1 car, 1st gear i tach it to like 7200 and shift. Pull up half a car i stayed dead even with him... the lanes merged so i merged in behind him so i ended at with my windo being at his rear tire.....

2nd race...this is the good one.
this was on a sort of downhill grade so this was to my favor... but he still got me on the launch. DAMN FDS CAN LAUNCH HARD! 1/2 car on the luanch i gained no gound until 3rd... i pulled about 1 car. But he didnt wanna stop so going into 4th i missed it ..... damnit i didnt see it comin. Oh well it was my first race. Agianst an FD so i couldnt turn it down!! Sorry if i didnt make em sound really interesting im not a good kill writer. Also something weird happened.... coming back home i tached up 3rd to 5500rpms and it started laggin bad and when i let off black smoke came out the back is this bad? my car is runnin fine right now. oh well those are my kills!

Nice kill...soo many think fd's are way faster then 2nd gens...the black smoke mighta been from the turbo..do u run it hard lots ?? or like never??

the stories were fine! and at least you got to finish your races ...

i had a race with my Gen I against a Gen II and Gen III and i passed the Gen II and THOUGHT that i was going to go after the Gen III, but the frickin' distibutor blew up!!!! it was really cool to see all three generations in one race though.

anyway ... what did you have your rear shocks set to when you raced him? based on the mods in your sig and your story, it sounds like by the time you put in the intercooler, flywheel and clutch ... you should be able to eat his *** in a rematch ...

and as for the smoke, it just sounds like you went REALLY rich for a second, as long as it hasn't happened again since then, i wouldn't worry TOO much.

i think the rear is set to 3 on the lil slot screwdriver turn thing... not sure what its called. i wanna get a FMIC REALLLLLLY Bad... and im getting a turbonetics to4b upgrade pretty soon
