Quick Question: Initial Set, Error Code connector... same?

Is the initial set connector the same connector your jump to get the ecu to flash out the error codes?
From the articles I have read they seem to both be pointing to the same connector... the single green connector by the battery, I just want to make sure its the same thing

Yes, they are one and the same connector.
