quick question. i searched to.

on the rear iron on the top there is a little coolant pipe sticking out. i read through the fsm and all i came up with was a coolant bypass. same with the one coming off the back of the water pump housing next to the temp sensor. now my question is are those two coolant pipes for the bacv or the heater core. i know the one on the side below the pressure sending unit is for the heater core. i am removing all emissions so i was wondering if i can block those two pipes off?

sorry for no pics photobucket is haveing problems and i can't up load anything right now.

that is the coolant hose that goes to the throttle body. It's a little angled piece of hose.

They are for the BACV and the thermowax (fast idle system.) Both of those are a good idea to keep. I got rid of them, and I now working hard to get them back on and working, cause it is a bitch have to hold hold your foot on the gas until the car warms up or if there is any load on the engine. They cost now power, so its pointless to get rid of them unless you are running a standalone and have a stepper motor.
