quick exhaust question

hey guys a have a quick little ?

i finally have enough money for a full exhaust system.
I already have a racing beat 3 inch downpipe, i want to purchase the racing beat pre silencer, but on mazdatrix it says it will only bolt to the racing beat 3inch catback and i am going to purchase the JIC catback which is supposed to bolt to the stock cat.

my question is, is there a way to modify the presilencer to fit the (i believe 2 and half inch) JIC catback? On jic's site it says the catback bolts to th stock cat. I want to keep the exhaust 3 inch all the way back untill the catback, but if it really is a pain in the *** il just return y 3inch and get the 2 and half racingbeat.

please help me out, thanks guys.

Make it easy on yourself, go to racingbeat.com and just buy the complete RevII turbo back. You won't be disappointed. Then sell the downpipe that you have. I just put mine on last sunday, I love it. If your downpipe fits your stock exhaust, then it is different then the one that comes with the complete system.

I made my own Downpipe back from work. Using RP downpipe, rest is generic piping from my workplace. 2.5in all the way back since 3in piping we don't carry a lot of. If you know someone or know a place that does custom exhaust you can always ask them. It'll work , it's just all money and time.

If you wanna just slap and zip zip out the door, get the whole kit to save you some time.
