Quick diff question...
My friend has a 87... err... 88?
Anyhow we were replacing the drive shaft and had the rear end off the ground. I Was turning one wheel and the other wheel wouldn't turn at all. I though one wheel should spin the oposite direction on a non-lsd?
Could this car have an LSD? The shaft had been replaced for sure, and possibly the diff but I'm not 100% on that.
Would an LSD only let one wheel turn? Could it be that the clutch discs are worn out on it? Or is it just a regular diff?
Thanks

Was the drive shaft turning as well? If you spin one wheel, the driveshaft or flange will freewhell. If you hold the driveshaft and spin one wheel, the other wheel will spin the opposite way.
