quick brakes question

ok this should be quick...

I have a 1987 Mazda RX-7 Turbo II...

i am buying front brake calipers.

do i have normal or hard suspension?

do i have 4 or 1 piston calipers?

i think thats all..

how can i tell which of these i have, and does it matter whether my suspension is hard or normal...?

thanks,
-Matt

i don't know about the suspension,
but i'm pretty sure the stock TII brakes are 4 piston calipers in the front

look at them, if they say Mazda on them then i think they are 4 piston...someone else will confirm though, i'm sure

you have 4piston calipers, and as for the suspension, i think hard/normal refers to the AAS that was on the GXL model. a TII would have hard suspension. im not sure why that would matter/have anything to do with brake calipers.
get stainless lines while your at it

Actually, the definitive answers can be found in the FAQ. It's much more reliable to first RTFF. Common questions that are answered there are often ignored. The FAQ is a tool for you to use, and not checking it first is like asking a friend to tighten a bolt because you didn't want to pick up your wrench.

For the short answer, your TII most likely has hard suspension and for pot callipers.
