QUESTIONs...very confused.

ok. basically my gtu will be converted to a stock TII very soon, and i was checking out this site .. http://fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/mods.html to get an idea on how i want to upgrade the car. after reading i realized that things became a lot more complicated ..for example if i got the racing beat full exhaust system i would need an FCD or a reprogrammed ECU. i wouldnt know what would be better..the FCD or the reprogrammed ECU....

i basically want to port my engine, have full exhaust system, a frount mount and run 12 psi at least. ...

what else do i need to know..and what else should be upgraded...like would i need an aftermarket radiator?

i wanna know everything i need to have the car be reliable and not a time bomb...any help would be greatly appreciated, im kinda confused.

I would also go with the chip.. it does timing as well as eliminates the need for an FCD.

Engine Rebuild/Porting
Racing Beat 3" full exhaust system
FCD (Fuel Cut Defensor): unless u buy Rtek7 chip 1.7
Boost Controller: apexi, hks?
upgraded radiator
fuel computer?
fuel system - fuel pump? (walbro 255), fuel injectors (bigger secondaries), fuel regulator?
ugraded spark plugs
ugraded spark plug wires
guages
alternator pulley?
fuel injectors - bigger secondaries
headers?
throttle body mod - (port and removal of sec butterflies)
lightweight crank pulley
lightweight flywheel
lightweight clutch
Cold Air intake
short shifter

rtek ecu upgrade (w/ this u wont need FCD)

upgraded cooling system? whats a good source for this

Sounds like you are on the right track. For your fuel system, I would recommend rewiring the Walbro (you can search for threads on how to do this) and going with 720cc injectors (that is what the newest Rtek chip is designed for, I believe).

Also, for a TII you don't run "headers". You can buy an aftermarket turbo manifold, but its probably not worth it since you're using the stock turbo. I also wouldn't recommend an alternator pulley. The electrical system is stressed as it is and would not react well to being underdriven (unless you just want to add a "lightweight" pulley, which is a waste of $$ IMO)

if you really want to pull some good number then here is a link to bnr turbo upgrades. These upgrades are direct bolt on and yield damn good power. the stage III and IV go up to around 350-380rwhp with the correct supporting mods. http://www.rx7store.net/index.asp?Pa...S&Category=364

I'm planning on running a hybrid (not from BNR) with my SAFC2 and AVCR. Leaving stock primaries and upgrading my 720s to 1000cc most likely.

like I've posted before brian has seen someone trap 118 with a stage II witch got him into the high 11's. THat is just nuts. As a matter of fact brian is going away from standalone and going back to an safc and rtek chip.

Going for 300-350whp safely with a semi conservative tune.
