QUESTIONS! still learning...

hello

i just purchsed some red line water wetter but i tested my coolant and its still running good. I was wondering if i should add the red line in the resevoir tank then? My resevoir is about 2-3" past full. Should i empty some?

Today i changed my oil because i was reading past forums that was saying mobil 1 synthetic is bad for the 13b (in many people opinions on this board) I changed to castrol GTX 10w-30.

Another question i was wondering is, is there a sound difference if i switch to a cone filter? Does it sound throatier at high rpms or stays relativley the same.

Thanks for helping

Did you drain some of the oil ? Yes, anywhere from 4.5 to 5 quarts. After 4.5 quarts, check the dipstick so you don't overfill.

6.1 qts is full capacity, including the oil cooler. Unless you drain the oil cooler at every oil change, about a quart stays in there. What I'm saying is, don't add 6 qts at every oil change, unless you've drained the cooler.
