Questions-Please Help

hi, im just wondering,
i will be picking up a 86 rx7 n/a this saturday. if i were to do a n/a to T2 conversion - will i be able to drive it in the rain/snow. where can i find a 13b-t tranny and everything to swap into my 86 seven. how much have you guys spent.

The Turbo II can be driven as a daily driver, rain, snow, sleet, hail.
There are guys that have the conversion available, but for the most part I would say you can pick up a J Spec engine/trans and do the install. Finding a ecu, harness, and rear assembly may be a bit of a problem, but they are around, unless you go with a standalone unit.
Depending on what you want to do with the TII, many, many dollars can be spent.
If your not overly familiar with the conversion, best to buy a TII if you can locate one.
If the 86 has the 4 bolt wheels, you'd probably want to do a conversion on that also.
My suggestion is to get the '86, fix it up and enjoy the car. After a period of time, and when you become more familiar with the conversion, then make up your mind.

does the rear have brake disks? and im planning on just driving and saving up for now, and the 86 n/a has only 4 lugs?
