Question for you TurboII's out there
getting a turboII engine/ECU/Harness but don't want the trans from donor. Now I just bolted up a lightweight fly and centerforce II clutch on my NA, planning on swaping that to the TurboII motor, so will it bolt up and work with my NA trans?

yes you can use the N/A stuff. but you need everything N/A, like flywheel, clutch, tranny, driveshaft, rear end and rear axles. i built a t2 using all N/A drivetrain parts, nothing has went wrong in over 1 year of beating the **** out of it. good luck and dont listen to anyone about not being able to do it or the N/A stuff is weaker. take it from me it works and it works well!!!!

i've had mine for like 4 months, but i think they swap has been in there for quite a whole. The guy i bought the car defenately didn't do the swap. It was a mexican guy that didnt speak english.....so i was looking at the car and i asked how many cylinders? He replied, 4. I said, how do you know, where does it say? He pointed at the spark plugs lol.
It runs very strong though, after i put my new clutch in.

Note a stock Series IV (86-88) 180HP Turbo II would probably be ok, but anything above that will eventually cause the NA transmission's main shaft teeth to wear down & break. That's with grannying the car.

he was testing his PP turboII with a turbo out of a Peterbuilt semi running on the bottle and racing fuel. He had it up to 194mph and was coasting down, went to downshift and the g-force knocked him around, not knowing he stuck it in 1st, paniced dump the clutch and hit the brakes. The sudden pressure on the motor blew the plugs out, went through the wheel well, and the turbo, well it disinigrated ruining his 2 day old custom CF hood, he's damn lucky he had a Halon setup on board or the fire would have never gone out. I'm see if I can get some pics for you guys.
