Question s4 to s5 engine swap

I was wondering I have a 88 fc if I got a s5 engine and installed it into my s4 would there be much of a difference? Like engine mounts ecu transmission or anything?
Thanks

There is a lot of information on this already on this forum, a simple search would yield hundreds of threads.

Simply put, yes, there is a difference. Mostly electrical (ECU and harness). Some mechanical (flywheel).

come on man, this is asked multiple times a week. rotaryresurrection.com has a write up and a simple search will give you more than enough info.

Bah, I shouldn't be helping you because your new avatar is the suxors in comparison to your old one...

You can run your S5 'keg' with all S4 accessories. That will drop right in without any wiring nightmares. There are a couple modifications required to pull it off. You will have to search for it.
