Question S4 or S5.

Ok i am new to RX-7's and i am buying an 1986 FC n/a, and i am wondering if this is an S4 or S5.

s4 = 1986-1988, s5 = 1989-1991, so its an s4. Read the faqs on the main 2nd gen page and the buying guide at www.aaroncake.net to help with your purchase.

S4. you can also ( most times) tell by the tail lights if your following someone

Well, anything can be swapped. The only for sure method is the year model.
