Question about Turbo shaft-play.

Alright, getting down to the end now with my little project, just pretty much need to put everything together, and get it tuned. Anyway, I have a Greddy Turbo kit, using a Mitsubishi turbo. ( see sig). The turbo has very low miles ( < 5K ), and you can see just looking at it, very clean, etc.. I was playing with it a bit, and noticed that there was a bit of shaft-play. No in and out whatsoever, but side to side, it does move a slight bit. It doesnt move very easily, not like its just flopping around, but if I apply a bit of pressure, It will shift maybe ~1-2mm. I wasnt sure if this was "normal", or acceptable play. I know that when the turbo is in the car, the center section is oil-lubed, so maybe this is just a slight bit of play that wont be there when the center section is being "pressurized". Im not sure, Ive never really rebuilt a turbo so I dont know what all to look for. I just wanted to know if this sounds like my turbo is good to go, or if I should be worried?
