Hi guys,
I need a couple of new rims for my 88 RX7 non-turbo. first of all, what size are they? do all rx7's or 88 rx7's have the same size rim? if not, how do i go about finding out if they are 14 inch, 15 inch, 16 inch, etc.
also, if i can find some at a junkyard, what should 1 rim cost me?

Factory sizes for the 88 models were:

a 14x5.5 inch with a 185/70-14 tire these were only on the 4 lug SE/base model cars.

all the others were 5 lug:
a 15x6.0 inch with a 205/60-15 tire
a 15x6.5 inch BBS with a 205/60-15 tire
and a 16x7 inch with a 205/55-16 tire.

All had an offset of 40mm (or 40ET) regardless of size or lugs.

all the stock rims except the 15x6.5 BBS wheels should be under $50 a wheel for great condition, and usually around $100-$200 a set for average condition. The BBS wheels and Series 5 16x7 wheels will usually go for between $200 and $300 a set depending on condition.

The sizes were common through the whole FC run with the exception of the 14x5.5 as the 4 lug cars were only available from 86-88.

 

Can i find out exactly what size mine are? i know it's 5 lugs, but does it say right on the rim? all 4 of them say 6JJx15
is that the size or what?
but in another place two of them say 16 and two of them say 17.
i'm just a little confused.
