Question Question about painting headers

I'm getting the mindtrain headers next weekend and I going to paint it with the ceramic paint they give me. I will sand blast it and the paint it. How long should I wait before I bolt the bad boy on after painting it?

I would at least wait until it is dry, probably even a little longer than that.

Ceramic paint generally should be baked for 2hrs @ 300F in your oven. Makes it more heat resistant.

You could have It air blasted with walnut shell abrasive and then pre-coated prior to application of Satin Silver Ceramic which is rated at 2400 degrees F (with the undercoat).
