question about oil/gas mixture.

I couldn't really find this when searching....

What are the symptoms if there is not enough oil getting into combustion?

I know if there is too much you will smoke a lot. Anything else with too much or too little?

So you basically won't know until it is "too late"?

Would too much oil cause the engine to not combust the gas? IE. would it dampen combustion

The problem with premix is it slightly drops the octane rating of the gas. With too much youll get some smoke from the tail pipe and maybe detonation (but youd need to have a **** load of premix in there).
