question about handbrake

in my car (s4) every time i adjust the handbrake.I do not understand why it relaxes .I changed liquids I put new o rings new brakes but still continued.THREE OR FOUR CLIC stay only for the first week.Why happens this>any idea how resolve this?

when you pull my ebrake all the way up at the very end it goes *click-DUNGGGGGGGGggggg* like its springing back....

i know i had to settle with about 6 or 7 clicks so that my brakes don't rub when the e-brake is off. have you tried spinning the wheels after adjustment to make sure you aren't just wearing down your pads, which would make it necessary to adjust again? just a thought, not sure if it's right.

perhpas one of your lines is broken or too stretched

there are line locks you can buy which will lock the pressure to all 4 wheels or 2 wheels at a push of a button and are mechanically controled (not a linelock which would require constant power to activate)

they are cheap and can be bought from jc whitney or summit racing or jegs.
