You sould do a T2 swap in a lightend first gen. That would be a fast little car. My FB will keep up with a stock T2 no problem till about 120ish. thats with a 12A. Weight differance between the FC and FB are really notacable. T2 is queter, and tighter. My FB has about 3 inches of steering wheel play. I plan on swaping in a rack and pinion eventually. But yeah, just buy a T2 if you want to do a swap. I'd personally start small. learn from the beginning. work is very expencive in these cars. so if you can't fix it your self expect to put in some doe. The T2 is much more complex than an old school 12A, or even a NA 13B. Honestly by the sound of it your looking to get in alot of trouble with a T2. Have you owned a RWD before?

Yeah i have found some rotary friendly people in my area that are going to help me put in a s5 engine into my rx7 im stoked.... in jan i will buy the engine until then i have a friend comming over and pulling the na engine out of it.

Also in jan im buying the s5 engine and getting all the body and paint work done...

then in feb im going to be geting a after market ecu, new exsuast, up grade the fuel pump, and possibly upgrade the turbo depending on the amount of money i have left...

theres going to be a good amount of money spent and alot done to the car...

Operation project MAYHAM is in full effect

Getting an s4, s5 will be to much of a hassel , and will take it to pineapple racing to get it ported ordering a engne here soon just keeping you guys updated going in for body work in a few weeks and then it will be ready to paint i think this looks very smooth

For paint

might change the colors up a little bit but i think that is a beautiful paint job on that car

the body kit looks like a duraflex body kit that i will be getting before paint of course...

I plan on taking pictures of the work that i will be doing and running a camra while pulling the engine and doing all the work to the car but the type that only shoots every 5mins so it will fit on youtube

you my friend have ALOT of studying to do. i believe you should read up for another year or so before you make any decisions on anything. you should not have to go by any "he said she said" i seen him". There is Alot of helpful people on here, ALOT... But on the other hand you have to do your homework. I am on this site and many others for approx.5+ hours every single day, there is alot of useful information all over.
