Question

I might be getting an '87 RX-7 GXL, ( auto )

however, my question is, will the 13B TT fit in? If so, I'm going to buy the JDM 13b TT that comes with the 5-speed tranny and swap it in if I get this car.

Yes.
There are good turbo swap & 5-speed writeups at www.rotaryresurrection.com in the tech section.

Search around the forum - this has been discussed before. Are you talking about swapping in the 13B-REW out of an FD? If so, then realize that this is a very expensive and painful transplant.

Then it's even more expensive and more painful.

Go read the FAQ in the "sticky" posting at the top of the FC forum. It covers swaps.
